“He that outlives this day, and comes safe home,
Will stand a tip-toe when this day is nam’d,
And rouse him at the name of Crispian.
He that shall live this day, and see old age,
Will yearly on the vigil feast his neighbours,
And say ‘To-morrow is Saint Crispian.’
Then will he strip his sleeve and show his scars,
And say ‘These wounds I had on Crispian’s day.’
Old men forget; yet all shall be forgot,
But he’ll remember, with advantages,
What feats he did that day. Then shall our names,
Familiar in his mouth as household words-
Harry the King, Bedford and Exeter,
Warwick and Talbot, Salisbury and Gloucester-
Be in their flowing cups freshly rememb’red.
This story shall the good man teach his son;
And Crispin Crispian shall ne’er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remembered-
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne’er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;
And gentlemen in England now-a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs’d they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin’s day.”

The eventual winner of ‘Britain Got Talent’ was Paul Potts. A humble man, who said he was always bullied in school, who was working as a handphone salesman before taking part in this. But, oh my god, what a strong and beautiful voice. You should see the faces of the judges when he came out and said he was going to sing ‘Opera’.
Paul Potts singing in the semi-finals.
And finally, his winning performance in the finals.
They really do.
I wanted to write about things that I find interesting, like hot new gadgets, or geeky items, or things that I love. I decided to, instead of putting them all down here, put them in a separate blog on its own.
The new blog is titled simply ‘Geeky Me‘.
The things I hear when I am using my toilet everyday :
- This man staying above me singing some China communist songs, totally out of tune.
- This kid staying somewhere below me refusing to take a shower, and screaming his lungs out everytime he has to.
- This man who stays somewhere below me has a throat problem everytime he takes a shower. He clears his throat loudly every other second.
Every once a while, I get this urge to go out and splash money on a new gadget. It is irrational and unhealthy, but it is like an itch that just refuse to go away until I get my hands on a gadget.
The recent itch started when I sat in my Sales Director new car, a new BMW 5 series. He was showing me the onboard computer display where everything was displayed on the screen inside the car. Things like engine oil, which traditionally checked with a dipstick, is now displayed visually on the screen. My senses started tingling and before I know it, the gadget itch was on me.
Luckily, I was still rational enough to realise that I will never be able to afford a BMW car now. However, I decided to start looking at the available handphone models on the market now, telling myself the $200 handset off voucher from M1 was too good not to make use of and my current handphone was getting old. It was not before long that I found the handphone that I wanted :

The new Sony Ericsson K850i. 5 megapixels camera, 3G phone, A2DP, EDGE, HSDPA. What a phone! The thought ‘MUST GET IT’ keeps going through my mind again and again.
I wonder if there are any Gadgetholics Anonymous groups out there?
Because NETS now charges retailers more, my purchases with NETS are now more expensive. Starhub cable TV just announced an increase in prices. In July, GST goes up.
Everything also up, except my pay and my quality of life.
